I agree with everything Roaming Maelstrom said. Another thing that may be a bug, when I mined one of the blocks that spawned enemies, I immediately died before I could move. Great job overall, I'm excited to play again with these improvements!
That does sound like a bug, I'll see what might be causing that. Sounds like a very frustrating way to go out
