Seriously, inputting smash attacks is a big problem if you play with tilt stick, which a lot of people do. Maybe it's just my controller, but I have an incredibly hard time inputting smash attacks. Please add an option to make it more/less sensitive and add a button that allows you to hold it and charge a smash attack, like Rivals of Aether. I find myself often D-Attacking attacking instead of F-Smashing. Thank you!

Another quick thing - maybe add a short-hop button and allow you to short-hop by tapping 2 jump buttons. There is just a lotta friction in the controls IMO

"Please add an option to make it more/less sensitive"

There is lol.

"Another quick thing - maybe add a short-hop button and allow you to short-hop by tapping 2 jump buttons."

That input method is awkward AH. Just having minimum/universal 4-frame jumpsquat is good enough (yeah I don't like Ultimate's 3-frame jumpsquat either).

I'm suggesting more flexible control options leading to accessibility. IMO competitive games need to have a way to customize their controls in many ways, including optimizing a play style/making it easier to preform actions that are difficult for no reason, ala Smash Attacks in Crusade.

Personally, I find either being able to tap 2 jump buttons or having a dedicated button to short-hop extremely useful for in-the-momentum combat. If Crusade were to add a dedicated short-hop button, they should definitely add a dedicated full-hop button as to not accidentally trigger a short-hop when intending for full-hops 100% of the time.

"Please add an option to make it more/less sensitive" was vague, sorry. I was referring specifically to the frame leniency to input smash attacks, which is rather short in crusade. I am aware you can adjust sensitivity of the analog controller for smash inputs themselves to be higher or lower.

On the universal jump squat? Yeah, it probably should be extended to 4 in the next smash game, not only to make it a little easier to short-hop normally but just because aerial combat is a little too prevalent in smash.

I'm not a game designer by any means but I do think I have an amateur grasp on it, and these would definitely be easy to implement and help some people out. Personally, I'm not a Melee guy, I like my buffered inputs. So, a game feeling as smooth as possible is a priority for me, though I have no clue on the design philosophy of the devs.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

For low jump button u need to combine walk and jump (u can put two different buttons to do an input like jump and low jump)

Look I though about this for some time. Now what i understood is you are struggling indeed to input a F-smash and u use tilt-button and if u had an option to use both smash button and tilt button at the same time that'll help am i right?

But that's impossible due to the game's limited controls option so I'll help u in a way that keep the smash button but instead of a full tilt button u can have an U-tilt and a D-tilt button (idk if u r comfortable with the normal side tilt with the A button) by adjusting the A second button and Up second button as the same input (that worked for my friend who's struggling when inputing the U-tilt)

I think that's all (i hope it's not too long for u to read💀🙏)

Ok, so I realize I sound whiny and am most likely stirring the comments up a bit (like a certain other mii themed user) so I'll def lay off of my issues with the controls recently. The reason I've been commenting is to alert the developers and not look for solutions from other users but thank you for trying. I'll take my leave, thanks!
