I love the visuals and direction! It’s clear there wasn’t enough time to add sound effects, but even so, I see massive potential in this project. I’d suggest adding the ability to "skip" dialogue by displaying all the text with one button press and skipping to the next on a second press. This wouldn’t ruin the narrative but would make the reading process faster and more convenient. Additionally, allowing the character to move a bit faster would be helpful, especially when encountering dead ends in houses and having to backtrack (though maybe I missed a way to sprint).

As I mentioned, the narrative delivery and visuals are the strongest parts of this project—they were handled with such care, and it’s clear that’s where your strengths lie. Amazing work!

Thank you for playing our game and good to hear some critique from you.

We dug too deep on polishing the player's immersion and tried to find the best character speed so when the player moves along the levels, they have enough but not too little time to process the narrative. Adding the 'Skip' function during the dialogues is definitely a better option for the player.
