I like the idea and the music, but the controls killed it for me - too difficult, too sloppy (trying to jump sideways requires preparing for the skid that happens before the jump starts), and too pixel-perfect (trying to time jumps with the lag requires perfect timing). I died dozens of times on the very first jump, until finding the precise pixel (or few of them) you had to jump from.

I also disliked e.g. the early level where the arrow points down, there's no way to look down, and what's 'down' is ... spikes. You in fact have to go down, pixel-perfect timing on guessing when to press sideways.

I think tweaking the timing, e.g. making gravity just 5 or 10% lighter, and/or  improving the keyboard handler to be more responsive, would lift the game. But I'd really like to see more exploration of the themes, they are more interesting to me /unique than the platforming.

I really appreciate the feedback! I'm thinking of adding a way to move the camera up/down or zoom out. I haven't decided yet, but something to make it seem fairer. Thank you!
