Hi,

Do you have a ballpark idea of what your budget is?

Hi! Thanks for your interest. Here's a general idea:

  • Type of Game: A short horror game with a Christmas theme. It could have a mix of cozy and eerie vibes, where the player experiences tasks like feeding stray cats, driving through a snowy area, or exploring a small, mysterious town. The goal is to balance heartwarming moments with some suspenseful or spooky elements.
  • Platform: Ideally for PC.
  • Complexity: Something simple and fun, maybe 15-20 minutes long. It doesn’t have to be super polished, just engaging and unique.

im open to know about your budget range
Let me know if this sounds interesting! I’m happy to share more details or brainstorm together. Thanks again!

Sounds intriguing.

Would you be okay if it was 2D and in a style kind of like Stardew Valley (but still incorporating the horror / Christmas theme)?

Do you have pictures of that game? There are a lot, and I can't tell which style you're referring to.

I won't be able to make something quite this polished (especially on short notice), but here's a screenshot from Stardew Valley:

I was thinking something that looks a bit like that, but with darker colors and darker themes.

I think that style will work perfectly. Since it might be tricky to include jump scares or a horror theme in that style, Itll be better if its just a Christmas-themed game with a cute and cozy atmosphere. We can still include some mysterious elements, but more in a puzzle way.

Also, could you let me know about the cost for a project like this?

I'd say my rate for something like this would be $175.

$175 total.

So kind of "in the middle range" as far as commissioning someone on here.
