I played in the browser and the performance seems good. The jump is very good, I can see that you even have coyote time, and you can control the jump height as well.

Personally, I find the position of the controls kinda of odd, but this is just a personal thing.

I don’t think it’s very cool to have to hold down a key to aim and then press another to shoot if I can’t aim in any other direction, but I don’t know your plans for that.

Which game engine are you using (if you’re using one)?

that honestly great to hear, i've been getting some slow down  on my end for some reason.
the controls were honestly slap  dashed together, originally i was using lmb & rmb to test but quickly realized that might be awkward for most people. I'll probably add a key rebind or alt-controls.
currently using clickteam fusion 2.5. it's honestly an old engine.

yeah the aim idea is half baked at this point. i just didn't have enough time to do the rest of the art before submission, so i cut most of the mechanics. i'll update it when more of the pixel art  done
