It's standard RPG maker problem. Omori, Undertale, and others RPG games have this problems too... yep... and people who made mod sometimes can fix it but... picture quality suffers 50% of the time... It's like you're trying to stretch the pixels... when they're already, like... am... pixels.
If the game was made with 1920x1080 resolution from the start - then you could do it... but then there would be new problems... because you know... it's RPG maker games and they're always having trouble optimizing FPS because of display resolution + a lot of images on the screen and some others problems...
Yep.
For example - I can stretch an image to full screen via aaam... full screen function but then the picture suffers a little... yeah... This is especially problematic if you have some kind of 4k monitor with 30+ inches which makes RPG maker games shows worse (One of several reasons why it doesn't make sense to buy such a big screens).
You know... there's still good graphics even with 1418x758.
You should see what's in Omori - 640x480... and you know... p-people have tried to stretch this to 1920x1080... and... am... ammmm... ahh..ahaa..hah..ha..hh... If you don't feel sorry for your eyes..... it's okay to play... maaaybe... (People are still trying to make a quality HD mod).
So be glad you have the option up to 1418x758 - that's pretty good too.
