I like the concept of freezing bullets to use them as platforms to get past and I do think some of the first parts of it were decent but some parts just don't give you enough of a reasonable time window to progress properly. I think it's mainly due to the uncomfortable mapping of the controls as I would have to use the keyboard to be able to jump and shoot. I think it would've been better to leave the shooting to the mouse as there it's much more reasonable and comfortable for the user instead to get accustomed to the controls better and get past the levels. Nonetheless, a valiant effort for the jam. Congrats on your game!

Thank you for the feedback! Would you be able to expand on what exactly is uncomfortable about the controls? I had a friend playtest at some point, and he later told me that he thought WASD and Z were the only controls (obviously very uncomfortable) did this happen to you? Or, is it more so that a keyboard only game is uncomfortable for you than the controls themselves were?
Maybe we should have made it more obvious, but the intended controls were something like: left hand on WASD and right hand on J for shoot or right hand on KEYS, left hand on Z for shoot.
Regardless, I understand where you're coming from since I come from a shooter background and a lot of my friends would rebind "shoot" to some mouse button even in a keyboard only game. Thank you again for the feedback!

Yeah that's what I thought as well. I did go back to play with right hand on keys and left hand on z just like with other flash games and 2D platformers I played when I was a kid but it still felt off. I could try again later with WASD and J to see if I can get through but now trying that out now feels weird because I almost never use J in games lol. Nonetheless, you guys should feel proud you've completed a game for a game jam together which is no easy feat I can tell you. Thanks for the response!
