Nice and fun concept and gameplay mechanic. I feel like of all games I've seen, this mechanic could easily be adapted to a good steam game. You did it simple but did it well. I feel like the dome needed to protect me more instead of staying inside of it alot. By this , I mean that the player should be faced with a challenge of going outside the dome more to collect the minerals. Maybe the minerals inside the dome could be destroyed / disabled after the dome expands because I could survive by staying inside the dome.
