That was a simple and fun concept...

The game ended too quickly though... I thought at least there would be a small boss fight after escape...

though I don't know how much tough it is to make a game in RPG Maker..

It's pretty easy to trigger a turn-based battle in RPGM since that's one of the basic mechanics of jrpgs. I steered away from battles to focus on switches and lighting being the main mechanics. I did have to rush the final confrontation a bit and the original ending was supposed to be running away from the demon to find a way out through the hole in the closet ceiling, but distracting the demon and running was faster. I'm working on tweaks and will see if I can make the ending a tad less abrupt.
