If I recall, holding down E V and O on the title screen activates EVO mode and all the remixed stuff from it. That SHOULD give you Mr. Sandman? If it doesn't, I have to manually set curse mode. There is a tool someone made I think that gives access to curse mode without me setting it.

The tool I mentioned is no longer publicly available, but I have a copy of it still. It lacks documentation (since the website is down) but I'm willing to zip it up and link it if you're interested. The "hard" part is just modifying your host files to point to your local computer rather than the gamejolt servers, which the tool kinda helps with.

If you don't mind faffing with stuff like this, I'd have no issue sending you the files. The only alternative is turning on curse mode for everyone and hopefully not forgetting to turn it off.

I can't tell you a lot since I haven't used this in almost 10 years but when it asks for a IP for editing your host files, you should probably do

127.0.0.1

which points to the local computer. So then, hopefully, Gaiden will look for the server the program hosts when you seat that up.
