Figured Out that there are 3 different "forests", the base forest, the gray scale one, and the "painted" forest, you can get the painted wood from the painted forest. If you want a hint then I'll say North may not be North.
If you had to give a hint for how to figure out north, what would it be?
you need to find the compass in the grayscale forest, there is a page that tells how to get to it
