Surprisingly enough, there IS such a feature! (In 8.2 currently but i haven't checked the previous versions)
It's in the reset menu, and it's called Clean dirt and Grime!
It doesn't clean up the bits of loose trash, but those are the easiest to deal with compared to the trash piles and grime so it isn't as big of a deal.
