I also had the issue paying. I had the option to use only PayPal. It almost stopped me from buying the game, because I don't like their conditions.

Anyways, it seems you need to configure the settings on your account as a creator to allow Stripe besides PayPal. You can do it here:

Just to clarify, we do offer Stripe as a payment option.

From past purchases, I know some customers have successfully used Stripe to buy the game, but I’m not sure if anything has changed recently.

No worries, I bought the game through PayPal, this worked, regardless if I liked it or not. But I just wanted to point out there could be some options missing for others through Stripe.

But I already have it and just wait for the official release. :)
