This was a very fast game… and by that, I mean everything moved really quickly 😊, and I was already dead before I could react. I think the game could benefit from implementing time calculations between frames to ensure objects move at the same speed on different machines. My fast PC probably caused this issue. Look up deltaTime movement online for some tips.
Because of this, I wasn’t able to play the game properly. The menu also didn’t work entirely accurately with hitboxes—I had to click multiple times to start. Did like the art for the cursor 😊!
The graphics also looked nice, and the music was cool beat.
But I couldn’t really see the theme clearly in the game.
That said, for a first game jam, it’s impressive that you finished something! I hope you learned a lot and had fun creating it. Keep it up, and take all the feedback into account for your future games. You’re doing great! 😊
