Hey I just played your game there and its great! I really loved the artstyle and choosing to stick to an all red color pallete was a great choice it truly highlights the rage/violence of the game. The music and sound effects were great too, alot of people tend to completly ignore sound in game jams when it can really help elevate the experience.

Your implementation of the theme and special object were great aswell. I feel like I and many others kind of just took the lazy way out with the whole DONT DIE thing but you actually put a fairly interesting twist on the theme.

At the start I was a bit confused because I thought that the rage bar was your health and I was wondering why I kept losing health (ya I know im not the smartest). But maybe you could have labeled it rage or put a rage symbol.

I also found the combat to be slighlty confusing/difficult (this could very well just be a skill issue). I assumed that the idea was to try and watch the enemies and not go near them if they were winding up a punch and to then strike them right afterwards. But this didnt seem to work (sometimes) . I'm probaly just missing something so feel free to tell me if I'm just stupid.

A tutorial would have really helped solve the problem I was having but thats very hard during a jam when time is so limited (and I really can't say anything as I didn't have a tutorial either). Thanks for putting the tutorial on the itch game page that really helped and I wish more people would do it.

Also your cover image is great and really stands out from the rest of the games in the jam. I also appreciate that you but a bit of effort into your itch game page as most games I've played so far this jam have next to nothing on theirs.

Overall really great game I definetly think your onto something here and with some tweaking and polish I can see it being a full game.

Hey, thanks for checking out my game and thanks for the feedback. I wish I would have had more time to implement some sort of tutorial or like a “how to play” section, but once the game got to its current state, I was just feeling burnt out. I might go back and clarify how the enemies attack. They have three attacks and the first one winds up, while the other two don’t there’s just a cooldown between them. Anyway, thanks again for leaving a comment.

I feel you on the burnout this was my first time doing a week long jam and it can be hard keeping the motivation for a whole week so fair play on finishing its a great game and you can tell you put a lot of work into it.
