I think you need to reduce the time to market. I didn't understand at first that i needed to fill the seed bag. When i got to market i didn't understand i was setting the price, so i set it high and nobody bought anything. And it took me a long time to get to that point. Looks like this game was a lot of work tho, you should be proud of it. Good job!!!

Thank you so much!! We ended up not having much time for game balancing, so this sort of feedback really helps! Our goal is also to add a tutorial post-gamejam to explain the core mechanics better.
