This is so cool. What a neat concept. Unfortunately on my computer the controls were bugged: the left stick always controlled both thrusters and overrode the right stick inputs. I could get turning to work by doing unintuitive combinations of different stick inputs, but it clearly wasn't what the instructions said should happen. Not sure what's going on on my end, but I wish it worked properly because I can absolutely see the vision! I'm impressed with the amount of visual polish you all achieved.

EDIT: I got it working. Maybe it was steam? I made sure it wasn't running this time. Awesome game. It is really really fun. I could see this being expanded.

I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to get the controls working properly! What type of controller are you using? and did Steam happen to be open while you were playing? When we were trying to get it working with PS5 controllers, we discovered that the inputs would get modified/consumed by Steam running in the background.

I also had to manually map the raw inputs to get PS5 controllers working natively, but each type of controller has different mappings that will need to be individually implemented (even the PS5 Edge controller doesn't work with the normal PS5 controller mappings). Please feel free to submit feedback or a bug report from the links included in the game folder, and hopefully we can get it working for you!

I'll give it another try. I don't think steam was running because I checked that specifically. I'm using an Xbox controller. I'll let you know what happens.

Glad to hear you got it working!!

I had the exact same bug and realized I had steam running and it was taking over the controller input and messing everything up. Really appreciate you trying out our game and leaving feedback! Do let us know if you try it again without steam and it's still bugged!
