What an intriguing art style!  I am fascinated by the textures and would ask so many questions about the design choices and how stuff was made.  Is the character floating on purpose, or was it too time constrained to figure out the walking animations? A little more story creation would have been captivating to me.  I didn't see too much spin theme in the game, but I also went from easily able to kill the first boss on easy mode, to unable to do much damage at all to the second even though I was still on easy mode.  Might be a skill issue for me, I'm much more a mouse mover in games (WoW, FFXIV) and never really learned WASD.  Really like the direction you're taking though and would certainly check out all nine circles if you do get to complete it some day :)

Thanks for playing! The character floats because he is a winged angel. I do think I should have lowered the scaling on the easy bosses for sure. Maybe you had trouble on the next bosses because you didn't buy items in between the fights? The bosses scale to get stronger the higher round you get because you can buy seals, blessings, and pacts which can increase your stats dramatically. The better you do against a boss, the more money you get (if you win without taking damage, kill it under 60 seconds, etc). The seals are the main upgrade and they spin around the player oftentimes giving stats or shooting out projectiles on rotation.

Another spin element is the stage and shop which are currently both purely aesthetic but in the future obstacles that fall from the sky will adhere the spinning ceiling that way it is less random as it is now.

I did buy a couple things from the store, but I didn't notice anything flying around me, so maybe I didn't spend my money wisely.  I opted for the two that increased damage.  I do really love the concept though :)

Oh gotcha. Yeah the seals are the stuff at the top of the shop and they are the big upgrades usually.
