The art was cute and the story was simple but enough to make the game feel complete. I think that the animals made the simple platformer a lot more engaging but I didn't feel myself shooting really at all, considering the enemies were predictable and not actively aggressive whilst also being tanky enough that they are annoying to kill. I think the game could have used a bit more variety, maybe with the platformer controller from r1 to add some more movement options for example, but there were not enough levels that it really felt like it dragged on. Cheesed the boss by standing in the corner and shooting but it was still a nice addition and way to end the game. I had some issues shooting while changing direction, which is actually another reason why I didn't fight enemies as you can't run away and then quickly turn around to shoot. I did think that the animations were very cute though and I think that the game did come together as a complete product, nice job!
