I don't know if its cause i was using an intel mac but it would not launch the game on mac i couldn't test linux though

Hmm, odd; I'm not sure if that's a Godot thing or intel Mac. Intel Mac still uses Metal API doesn't it? That's what Godot is attempting to use; I could quickly make a patch that's for Vulkan though I'm not sure if that would change anything
Edit: I was wrong, Intel macs do not support metal. So I'll be making sure to export it with Auto rendering device
