Hi Pawel, glad you like it!

It's totally possible to have so many wheels. Actually you can only have 4 wheels but each wheel can be made from multiple wheel components ( as long as the two wheels on the same axis are symmetrical in position and shape). I have done a lot of playthroughs already and i try to make my rear wheels at least 2x3 for more grip, especially in the new version with burnout/traction loss and mud this comes in handy.

I think you were unable to walk because you were carrying too much. If you can exit the car (see the player/'X' next to your car) and are unable to move without being blocked by other objects it's most certainly the case. You can see if you are overburdend in your inventory window. The last line says something like 11 / 10. Which means you are carrying 11 weight but can only support 10. It also turns red if you exceed your capacity. Then you can either drop items (they just disappear) using right-click in inventory, or you enter your car again and build some components into your cars design to get more free space. Also for each trunk component you add to your car you get +2 maximum carry capacity.

If you still have questions or find any bugs feel free to ask/tell me. Your feedback is much appreciated!

Oh, I took the information about “exactly 4 wheels” literally and didn't even try building bigger single wheels out of multiple wheel components. Maybe it's just me but making it clear in the instruction for building the vehicle could prevent such misunderstanding.

Regarding not being able to move — I think I had a look at UI elements before giving up and quitting the game in this situation, but probably I indeed just omitted the inventory limit (I was aware of its existence and how trunk works beforehand).

You are right, the distinction between wheels and wheel components isn't obvious at all without further explanation. I'll add that. Also, i think i will change the color of the entire inventory to red when the player is overburdened, so it immediately catches the eye.

Thanks again!

I'm going to use this thread too.

This is a really cool idea! The modular system is very unique and easy to understand. However, my laptop doesn't have a numpad and so a way to change the controls would help. Additionally, it seems the cursor and the game is misaligned a bit. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Thank you for your feedback!

I've added an alternative control scheme for keyboards without Numpad in the minor update (v031) i just released. See the help page (F1) for more information.

However the mouse positioning problem could be part of a bigger issue. Since you are on a laptop, am i right in assuming you're running a resolution lower than 1920x1080? Unfortunately, for now i only can support at least this resolution. I'm planning to make my UI system more flexible, though.

With your resolution are you able to see the bottom white border of the world view and the 'Hint status bar' below? The Hints will only appear when they're triggered by certain actions, for example accelerating your car.
