Very nice idea, but I think it´s missing something. I found that just trying to move towards the center would keep me alive without having to see the incoming directions. Maybe you could do something like having the player react to short waves of inputs in a few seconds. For example, show "UP UP RIGHT DOWN" and the player has to give his inputs before the bubbles reach the top, or something like that. You could even add coloured text that altered the meaning, or draw the text upside down or...This is such a  great idea I can see it expanding in many different ways, you did a great job!

Thank you so much for your kind words and ideas!  I like your ideas with the text -- I wouldn't have thought of it myself, but it's something that would keep players on their toes, and it would introduce a little more "anarchy" to keep the game fresh for longer while still sticking to its core theme.  I'm definitely interested in exploring it further!
