OK, two more questions. If I'll get 2D assets and I'm making a 3D game, can I transform these assets to 3D (making model out of sprite)? And can i make a simple prototype right now or do I have to wait till the 2nd week?

This is a good recycling idea.
You can create a prototype right now but be sure it will be compatible with the still unknown assets you will receive.
