how long did you make the game? it looks great!

The artwork was all done as vector drawings within affinity designer.. its like an illustration program, Usually i draw out the games assets as if the game was paused. Having a full picture I can add objects into to pad and feel the 'scene' lets me know it looks complete, suprisingly this is all very quick and easy for me and the artwork doesn't take more than 4 hours so.

The character script was heavily modified from an old script I used in an old jam and repurposed to fit what I needed. The majority of the gameplay elements dont take long, building the level doesn't take long.. but I do find the bits that take a lot of my time without realising is polish.

Enemy AI is really wonky and doesn't work as well as intended.. i probably wasted way too much time on them considering the final result doesn't really react as I wanted.. Overall I spent about 11 hours a day from 6pm > 5am ( I have kids so I was very tired the whole time)

Total of 33 hours.. not bad.. but could of been much better if I utilised my asset creation better.
Artwork being finished first really inspires me to achieve the 'feel' when working through crunch time, dealing with bugs and stuff. :)

Thanks for playing :) I'm opting to give really in depth responses, so hope you dont mind the long response :)

this is a really comprehensive answer. but I don't mind)
