This is a good concept, as you said it's buggy. I had to restart to get the movement to register. Also when you are moving and you shoot, part of the missile beam sticks out the back of the ship. I also think the hitbox on the player ship is probably wrong/too big as there was visible black space between me and an enemy but I was still destroyed which was frustrating as I couldn't skim past them to the wire because I couldn't tell where the wire was. 

There's a good game in there if you gave it some work.
