Interesting idea, but after I kill the initial flying enemies they don't spawn anymore and the aliens on the ground bugged and went through the floor.
I ran out of time before I could fix the bug with the aliens going through the floor. Thanks for playing!
Looks neat but wish I could play it properly
Encountered a few bugs like exploding and losing a life right at the start. Also took me while to find out that the middle mouse button controls the tractor beam
Thanks. I forgot to add a section for controls in the description. It's there now. Really wished I had the time to fix those bugs but time ran short so I had to submit it as it was. I'll try to put together a better version soon though.
This is a good concept, as you said it's buggy. I had to restart to get the movement to register. Also when you are moving and you shoot, part of the missile beam sticks out the back of the ship. I also think the hitbox on the player ship is probably wrong/too big as there was visible black space between me and an enemy but I was still destroyed which was frustrating as I couldn't skim past them to the wire because I couldn't tell where the wire was.
There's a good game in there if you gave it some work.
Thanks for playing. I'm definitely going to try to fix some of the bugs and tighten up the colliders a bit.

A good concept, but it's very buggy...
The enemy ships vanish out of nowhere many times and my ship gets destroyed out of nowhere. While trying to get multiple aliens at once, some of them went through the ground.
I'm working on a fix for those vanishing ships, but I ran out of time for the jam so I had to leave it as buggy as it is. Thanks for the feedback!
Neat little game, and it looked amazing! That rocket ship sprite and the particle effects were lovely :) could've used some music and a few more defending enemies, but other that it was pretty cool :)
I had planned to put in some SFX and music, and I also wanted to add the enemies that were in defender (Bomber, Mutant, etc.) but I ran out of time before I could implement them. Thanks for playing and commenting!
