Those "downtime areas" with the U shaped platform were intended to be checkpoints, due to issues with the upload, the latest build is not the one submitted, so the checkpoints do not work, I wish they did to be honest, because we designed the level with the idea of people having a healthy amount of frustration, and the checkpoints were a big part of that.
Also full disclosure, the double jump is a bug haha, we believe it has to do with the coyote time being weird. Thanks a lot for your comment and we hope you liked it!
