I like how you tied cellular automata into the gameplay, it really lets that fire get out of control. I think my biggest criticism would be that if I'm given a control in a game, I think there should always be a reason to release that control. There isn't really a reason not to be release water at all times in this which makes me wonder why it isn't just toggled on all the time in the first place.

definitely good feedback. I am a fairly new developer and so I ran out of time but that was the very next piece I wanted to implement: a supply of water and a place you have to return to in order to fill up.
