Quite fun game! The controls were hella quirky and still super fun at the same time.
Started off quite confused on where I was supposed to deliver the packages. Obviously I ended up finding the port and managed to decipher the quite poorly placed, organized and labelled buttons there to sell my cargo (or what was left of it). Off to a good start!
Did quite a few rounds, made some bucks and bought some upgrades. I was determined to see what the king's blessing was and how even the automatic delivery thing worked. I was at 20 cargo space with almost all the upgrades bar the last two expensive ones when the following happened.
Stuck there for all eternity! At this point I also noticed the rest of the tutorial messages about different vehicles. Now the port options make a lot more sense but still can't quite continue with the truck being stuck.
Another issue about the shop/port HUD not being great was that the canvas didn't seem to be scaling properly with screen size.
The upgrades and their prices were not balanced great either. I mean, pretty much none of the upgrades except for cargo size and cushioned cargo (which was either too cheap or too op) were almost pointless. Well the first road expansion was worth it since it was so dirt cheap. The 10% production rate seemed completely worthless but I guess it was a bit more speed than that 10%. At least it seemed so. Still the wait on the factory there was the worst part of the game. Just waiting is never fun.
Oh yeah, the Mac version worked but needed some fiddling around to get it to do so. After this it launched just fine...
Anyways, good job! And a first jam game too, impressive work.
