Yeah you got my feelings exactly. I didn't want to drag the game out too long as I didn't have time to add more variety and things would get a bit repetitive. I thought better to think the game was hard than be boring. Also last minute I thought it would be a good idea to make it so the player had to be close to the crops in order to interact with them, probably a poor choice in hindsight (Especially with no feedback to the user as to what was going wrong).
