What a grim description! :( Shivered a bit.

I felt the game's mechanics only supported the game's purpose (that Captain Hook is doomed to die) somewhat. The fact that there are coins to collect & a counter is great, a way for the game laughing in your face & saying, "What are you collecting these for? You're not going to spend them, you're going to get killed by a crocodile any minute." It's brilliant.

However, the fact that you only die when you stay still didn't support the goal for me. Is it a way of saying the only way is to submit to your fate? Because I thought the game was saying that the croc was unavoidably going to catch me.

Some music would've increased the tension. Maybe for every coin, Captain Hook moved slower and the music gets louder, until the last coin makes him stop entirely?

This was really worth playing. Great work! :)

(btw, also in this Public Domain Jam, with HummingBird Haunting! Check it out? I'm eager to hear people's thoughts!)
