The visuals are really nice - the commitment to simplicity leaves it feeling really clean and readable - perfect for this kind of game. The sound design is also very good, from the effects to the announcer. The moment-to-moment gameplay is satisfying, though it took some getting used to. I like the enemy variants that pop up and force a change in strategy.
After a number of tries I began getting the hang of using the terrain and the dash, as well as picking up the power drops etc. Felt it was pretty well balanced overall.
Overall I really rather liked it :)
