This game is very fun and I love the boss fights. However, I think that there are a few things to make better in each boss fight and with general mechanics. Room 101 was fun, but I found that after dodging his burst of pellets, I was too close to him to dodge them again. I wish that you could either dodge in place or that there was more break time between the bursts. Room 102 also felt slightly unfair when you were right next to a wall and the dark lines came from that wall and instantly damaged you. I think they should come from the wall farthest away every time. The beam she shoots during the second phase is also barely telegraphed and I got surprised by it way too often and couldn't beat her. There should be more of a delay before it starts doing damage. Room 103 was also very fun, but he sat still for very long periods of time which made him quick to finish. His second phase's sound effects were also early and let me dodge very easily. I also think that you should be able to cancel an attack with a dodge because I was frozen in place when I was attacking and ended up taking tons of damage for it. The art is absolutely beautiful and, take this as a compliment, I doubt you made it all during the jam. The music is great as well and I love the boss designs. I'm slightly confused on how upside down fits in with this game, but it's very cool. This game has some of the most potential I've ever seen in any game ever and I think it could easily become a popular title on steam or another platform if you added normal levels between the boss fights and more content. The mechanics are just amazing and I think implementing levels would make for a very interesting platformer. Keep up the spectacular work!

Wow! Thank you very much for this very detailed comment!

You made lots of pertinent suggestions, and I apologize for the most aproximation of the patterns of each boss, it was very hard to program and often I was content with what worked without trying to get the best.

For the graphics of the game, I did everything during the jam, I don't really have the means to prove it, but I posted on a discord server some screenshoots on the progress of the project (with the date)

For the theme, I work around the returned cross and the beyond, but it is more a design and lore choice for the game more than the mechanics. ^^;

Thank you again for your feedback, and I'm very glad you liked the game :)

that’s amazing that you did this all during the jam! Thanks for explaining how the theme fit in.
