Probably the best take on the theme I've seen so far - not only does the player have to travel in back and forth, the mechanics enforce a state change that makes the return journey way more interesting. The level design is well paced to reflect this, along with steadily introducing more wrinkles to the formula to keep things interesting. From an audio-visual perspective, the game is very polished - cute pixel art, and neat little bits of animation and sound to make everything pop as it should.

The only issue I ran into is that the platforming can be very unforgiving. I hit a difficulty spike on the third level that I just couldn't overcome. I'm not the best at platformers, so it's entirely possible that my lack of skill was to blame, but I think a bit of coyote time, and having the character slow to stop a bit quicker would take this game from great to perfect.

Probably the best game I've played in the Jam so far, and I'll probably come back to it once the rating period is over, because judging by the screenshots, there's a lot more to see!

I'm really happy you enjoyed the concepts of my game!

As you say, I definitely need to add some coyote time and tweak the deceleration. I'll work on it!

Thanks for the awesome feedback :D
