I'm so glad you chose to revise this game because I was drawn in by the story and the characters back during turn-based jam. You have certainly improved it and I hope you will continue to do so. As it sits, the fights take too long and aren't very interesting. The UI during the fights is sound once you figure out how to use it but not intuitive. I'd love to see the Mom character teach us the UI explicitly. The potential in this project is vast. Do keep at it!
