Being able to switch backgrounds was quite nice, but yeah 10000 projectiles on screen is maybe dangerous.

I can assure it is not. My computer literally tried to burst into flames on a daily basis and all it does is lag. This game is about lag management. That is what it is like in that metaphorical journey. Sometimes it can feel like time itself stretches out in an endless void that will never end. Sometimes that is how projects can be.
