I set up my stats, and I really like that idea, but for some reason I can't choose my weapons. I really wanna play this, so I hope you get that resolved

Hi dreamcastgh0st, thank you for trying out the game.

I made a video to show how to play.

You need to select both Standard and Special weapon (one from the top row and one from the bottom row) before starting the game.

Unfortunately due to the lack of time I couldn't add icons to show the weapon selected and the first level is just a test.

I think the game could have a potential with proper graphic and after a bit of adjustment.
I played around some ideas and I had to leave many out for now.

Let me know!

Thank you :-)

Nice, okay, I see the issue. In the game, it says the controls, but the controls for players 3 and 4 are swapped-- it was telling me to use T and G, when I actually needed to use numpad 0 and 1. You might want to fix that.

Otherwise, cool game! There are a lot of overlapping systems at work-- I love that each player can really customize their character, between the stat system and all the different weapon options you've provided. Combine that with this being a cooperative multiplayer game, it really opens up the opportunity for different players to sort of 'specialize' in different things and work as a team! The game is too short and doesn't have enough enemy types to really capitalize on that, but I assume that's because of time restraints. Also, the instructions aren't as clear as they could be-- you could make the best game in the world, and if nobody understands how to play, it won't matter. That's why it's important to have people other than yourself test it out-- it can sometimes be tough, because of course you understand your own game. There are little things that you could also fix, like the grenades take too long to explode as it is right now. But I think you have the skeleton of a really good game on your hands here, and it would turn out great if you built on it a little more!

Thank you for the accurate feedback!

I have fixed the keys, but I can't upload a new version until the voting of the jam will be completed.
I will definitely upload a fixed version later.

I totally agree about testing, and outside of the jam, I always ask for feedback.
It definitely makes a difference between hook players or lose them straight away!

Different enemies will be added for sure, I had a bunch of them on the paper, but didn't have time to build them. I was actually lucky enough to have uploaded a "working" game. I have definitely added too many features considering that I worked on the game for a total of 25 hours only :D

About the grenades, some don't explode for a while due to a bug, need to fix that part.
Aside for that, I tried to find a good timing between let them explode quickly and give them time to bounce down some eventual holes the player might want to clear.
Once again, testing here will help :)

I like co-op games and I think too this has good potential.

I just need to decide the direction to give to this game:
a) Rushing quick action where players are forced to move to the end of the level.
b) Exploration and use strategy to defeat enemies using synergy between players.

It could be too to have some levels in one way and others in the other way and let players decide which mission to choose between the two, maybe changing the story and so on.

Thank you again for your great feedback!
