Can someone help me? I have started the ‘Country Road’ quest, the first step is to “sleep until morning”, when I do that, I get a scene where Korg throws a bandit at 2 am, and then nothing happens. I am stuck at this point. What do I do to progress ahead?

Just continue use sleep until morning until this scene don't happen.

Boost bandit's attitude and moral towards you. The easiest way - to talk to Jester and give money to the bandits - 2 talks per day are possible. 2-3 days and you will have calm nights

Thanks Heaven_Steed. I paid Jester money for bandits and that helped me progress further.

Sleeping until morning can sometimes trigger other events to occur, and when that happens the quest log doesn't count it as you having slept until morning. Just sleep again until nothing interesting happens.
