I would place the player closer to the tutorial. I loaded the game twice because I thought the aspect ration wouldn't fit. Regarding the controls you also should support WASD-Controls. Besides that it would be cool if the player could move back while firing (so maybe don't turn him around). 

In general I would recommend you to add music/sound effects to your game before releasing any version. Audio adds a lot of athmosphere to your game and can boost it a lot (unfortunatley - because I hate adding audio ^^). 

I like the style and the player somehow reminds me on a character of south park (but I don't remember his name). This gave the impression to me that it will be funny-horror-game. Not sure if this is what you aimed for it but I like it :D.
