I like these small arcade games. Hard but not undoable and the upgrades and cosmetics keep you playing. You could deactivate the ink usage before the game starts though. And maybe (I dont know if that the way that popular games do it?) add some kind of prediction of whether the player could still be able to get through a set of bombs or not. Like sometimes you are in the lowest lane and all ways out are blocked by bombs. It should always feel doable for the player I think

Appreciate the feedback. You're right the game should always be fair. I'll make some tweaks post-jam to iron out those  bugs and rearchitect the  hazard system. Hope you'll check it out then!
