I have a 3900X 1070TI, 64GB RAM,. I didn't notice framerate drops, but I also wasn't really trying to worry about that at 4:30AM LOL!
We did plan on optimizing, but just never got around to it sadly.
It could have just been me, guess ill never know lol xD
