The idea behind this is great, and despite the fact that the sprites look totally like programmer art they are not ugly, actually it's thje opposite! they are weirdly connected and satisfying and create the right contrast where needed. Great job!
Thanks for your return ! To be precise, the sprites weren’t made by a programmer, but by someone who experienced pixel art and game design for the very first time ahah. So we are pretty happy of the result. Glad you liked the game :D
