The music was awesome, and I enjoyed the hand-drawn animations. I think you may have been able to tweak the jumping so that you didn't fall so fast, but I enjoyed playing through the game. I have to admit that I was not able to beat the second boss, but what I did play was fun.

I had all these thoughts too. A terminal velocity on the falling would be nice. The second boss was really hard, but I took it down after 4-5 tries. It was nice to have a save point right before it. The music, enemy design, tiles and backgrounds were all really nice and all worked together with the candy theme. One thing - it seemed like you could destroy gumball bullets with your attack, but it only worked for me when I lined up absolutely perfectly. The hard stuff would've felt more fair if you could easily destroy bullets with your attack.
Thank you so much for the feedback! This is one of the first few games Ive made, so my player controller definitely needs some tweaking. Will definitely make the next platformer game have a change in the falling stuff. As for the gumballs, I accidentally forgot to make the gumballs for the 2nd boss destroyable, so that might have caused an issue. Probably need to make the hitbox for the gumballs a bit more apparent. Thank your once again for the feedback!
