I am excited to see what you all create :) I agree that keeping things light and small is a good idea. Time is short and it's better to cut corners and shave off functionality and get something done than going overboard with fancy mechanics and visuals. One can always continue the project after the jam is done and do further polish then. I wish you good luck and try to have fun! :)
