If the encounter is early and difficult, or late and easy, depends on when you walk through that village. :D In the end, it makes no difference whether you win or not, so the player doesn't get punished for "stumbling" into this event too early.
Oh okay, tried to fight and defeat it for at least thirty minutes or an hour straight before deciding to stop. I couldn't let go of that fight, lmao.
