Here I am quite disapointing that I cannot rate your game on the design. You did an ammazing job with the ship and the smugs !

The idea is  very original (I was really curious when you posted screenshots on the discord) and it works well.
The fuel is well adjusted. decrease slowly enough for you to explore, but you also have to check for the precious refueling items. Maybe decreasing the fuel when just rotating the ship wasn't necessary, as I felt less inclined to exploire and sometimes just went in a straight line.

Oh, and I don't know if there is an end screen, here :/ Did you have time to implement and end goal ? In the description, it implied that there might be, but never found it :p

GLEE!  Thank you so much. I am super proud of it, as it's the most complete game I've ever made. But, about those ending scenes...

I was not able to implement either of the end-game screens :( There was to be one when the player found all 92 portraits, and the other was going to be a secret code to type in (hinted at by the intrusive quotes playing on occasion). I did manage to put in two three Easter-Eggs though, lol.
