Nice mechanics, especially the powerup selection system with the random cards.

I also like the tune and spritework, visually this somehow has a master system vibe to me ^^

The energy use to choose a card every 10 seconds adds also some nice strategy element to the game, especially with the fact that if you manage well and get lucky there are some cards that can replenish your energy to allow you to chose some more.

my only small gripe would be that on first time playthrough it's a bit hard to dmake out what's an enemy and whats a bullet, but really not that big of an issue all things considered cause once you get the hang of it its all right.

Had some fun, and also i did not expect that surprise dark souls death prompt considereing the rest of the game's tone XD
