CATaclysm is quite a great game! I really like the overall graphics and style of the game. The idea is also great. However, I thought the difficulty was a bit off, and using the cards was quite confusing to me, but I think I just need to keep playing it for longer to understand it better - also, I'm quite a noob in Bullet Hell games. Great work!
Very cool game with pretty graphics. At first I was a bit confused with the red bullets since they "explode" out of dying enemies, but once I figured it they were also damaging it was easier (perhaps adding better feedback to getting hit might help). Overall a pretty good job!
It's a very interesting game! A card game mixed with a bullet hell is unexpected but very fun nonetheless! It is quite difficult to approach at first, and the cat's hitbox isn't really easily defined (and also feels a bit big), but the enemy bullet patterns and given cards are unique. This could be expanded upon for more levels. Nice Job!

Theme, Visuals, and Audio were amazing.
The deck building aspect really brought a dimension of strategy to the game that I really appreciated.
The learning curve of knowing what to avoid as well as what constitutes a play through would be my only negatives.
Would have played much longer to see what other bosses awaited!

Visuals and audio are really great. Gameplay is really fun and cards as upgrades idea works really good, especially with energy costs. I enjoyed playing the game very much. Great job!
Nice mechanics, especially the powerup selection system with the random cards.
I also like the tune and spritework, visually this somehow has a master system vibe to me ^^
The energy use to choose a card every 10 seconds adds also some nice strategy element to the game, especially with the fact that if you manage well and get lucky there are some cards that can replenish your energy to allow you to chose some more.
my only small gripe would be that on first time playthrough it's a bit hard to dmake out what's an enemy and whats a bullet, but really not that big of an issue all things considered cause once you get the hang of it its all right.
Had some fun, and also i did not expect that surprise dark souls death prompt considereing the rest of the game's tone XD

Loved this game! The aestethics, the upgrading system, the soundtrack, really really really well made!
This was really fun to play. Even though a bit difficult I still enjoyed it.
The first thing that went through my mind when I first saw was "OMG a cat on a paper plane" and I was even more surprised with the polish of this game. The idea is nice but the cards i feel that the cards are slowing down the paste of the game and it was weird because the game told me to use the powerups using the L CTRL and the button was actually L SHIFT, that need to be changed after the jam.
I'm sure that your team worked very hard for this game and the end result is outstanding. I also hope that your team will stay together for many more projects.

The game is great on all counts! I loved the aesthetic of it—so cute :). The dark souls death sound effect was a hilarious shock.
The power-up system was really creative, though I wish it had more of a deck-building feel by allowing you to keep your power-ups or adding ones to your rotation.
Awesome job! I loved the game.
Fun game! Adding in the cards added a really unique twist and helped to add a lot of strategy to the game.
If you wanted to improve I suggest adding alternate keys for controls. You wouldn't have to implement remapping or anything like that, simply have multiple keys for actions. Spacebar for shooting, wasd for movement, etc.

Great idea combining bullet hell with drafting power-ups/deck building. Love the art, love the sounds. Super small gripe are the keyboard controls (especially on a German keyboard). But overall outstanding work!
Cute game. I like the idea of drafting powerups and abilities but the 10s constraint makes for context switching too often, pausing the game every 10 seconds to cash out my energy.

Please make controls changable, its hard to play on a keyboard where z and y are switched. All around the best one yet.
Sorry about your experience with the keys, but we're glad you still enjoyed the game regardless. I'll definitely look into re-bindable keys when we're able to update the build.
Enjoyed this one a lot! The upgrades added a very good layer of strategy and replayed it a few times to beat my scores. I wish the player hitbox was more defined
