I got to 14 years before i ran out of money, i didn't put much gold mines, I put tons of food lol i went in blindly i didn't read your tips lol, but hey! i had fun playing this!
Thanks for playing! Yeah its very easy to run out of money if you arent careful in the early game. More than once I've had to survive the remaining years by spamming towers since they have no additional cost outside of the 2 gold, which is pretty easy to get 2 gold a turn
